Overview

Scope of Responsibilities: Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks, occasional travel for training purposes, participate in training sessions.

Job Summary: Perform daily auditing functions from all stores by verifying paid-outs, voids, Department Total Reports and Sales Comparison Reports.

This role is on-siteand in-person. Not a remote opportunity.

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

  • Audit sales report totals from the stores on a daily basis, verify accuracy and make corrections.
  • Provide store support and training, both on-site and via telephone, for bookkeeping functions as needed.
  • Balance cash-up totals and charge book to Accounts Receivable on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Create and distribute bookkeeping procedures and memos as policies change
  • Maintain daily bookkeeping forms.
  • Record coupon totals daily and bill coupons to the redemption center.
  • Advise loss prevention of potential bookkeeping irregularities. Send a report daily to loss prevention of large registers and shortages and run a monthly over and short report for all stores.
  • File cash-ups and cash-up bags.
  • Provide back-up support for Bank Balance functions as needed.
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Responsible for Bank Account reconciliation
  • Enter Journal Entries
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: AS Degree or Higher in Accounting, Business Administration or related field

Experience:

  • Preferred: 1-2 Years or more of General Ledger/Accounting experience
  • Preferred: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

Special Conditions of Employment:

  • Drug test

Compensation:

$18.50-19.25 per hour

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
