General Laborer/PIV Operator

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer/PIV Operator to join their team. As a General Laborer/PIV Operator, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting warehouse and material handling activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: General Laborer/PIV Operator

Location: Ames, IA

Pay Range: $21.00 

Shift: 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am)

What's the Job?

• Perform general manual labor tasks including heavy lifting and moving materials
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely
• Operate industrial trucks or tractors equipped for material movement
• Assist in warehouse, storage yard, or construction site activities
• Follow established procedures and work under supervision to complete tasks

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform heavy lifting of 30 pounds or more
• Forklift certification required
• Willingness to work at heights and in various environmental conditions
• Strong work ethic and attention to safety protocols
• No prior experience required; training provided
