Job Description

Join our team as a General Laborer in a dynamic and challenging metal manufacturing environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting our production processes by loading large metal pieces into machines and handling stamped metal products.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading large metal pieces into machinery.
• Help place stamped metal products onto pallets.
• Maintain a high level of safety while handling heavy and sharp metal materials.

Essential Skills

• Experience with loading and packing in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools.
• Ability to work as a machine helper.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with loud and hot metal manufacturing environments.
• Union membership eligibility after 90 days.

Work Environment

Work in a loud and bustling facility where safety is paramount. Steel-toed boots are mandatory, along with jeans or pants without holes and a T-shirt. The company produces a variety of metal products including filters, fences, and gratings. Multiple shifts are available including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts across different lines.

This is a Permanent position based out of Libertyville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.25/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Libertyville,IL.
