General Laborer
Location: Houston, Tx 77075
Pay Rate: $14/hr with Overtime
Position Summary
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be the backbone of our inventory management and equipment preparation. You will be responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and movement of our bin inventory, ensuring that every unit leaving our facility meets our strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Preparation: Clean and sanitize bins according to industry-specific protocols (food grade vs. industrial).
Quality Control: Inspect bins for structural integrity, seal quality, and functional valves; report any damages or maintenance needs.
Loading & Unloading: Safely operate forklifts or pallet jacks to load/unload flatbeds and shipping containers.
Inventory Management: Use handheld scanners or logs to track the movement of bins in and out of the warehouse.
General Maintenance: Perform light repairs on bins (gasket replacement, decal removal) and maintain a clean, organized shop floor.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA and company safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications
Experience: 1+ years in a warehouse, logistics, or industrial cleaning environment (preferred).
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
Technical Skills: Certified Forklift Operator (or willingness to become certified).
Attention to Detail: Critical for identifying small defects in equipment that could lead to leaks or contamination.
Reliability: Strong punctual attendance and a "team-first" attitude.
