Job Description

This role supports a large-scale K–12 school construction project in Colorado by performing a wide range of general labor tasks. You will assist multiple trades, help maintain a clean and safe jobsite, and contribute to overall productivity throughout the duration of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor duties across the jobsite, including material handling, debris removal, and thorough site cleanup.
  • Assist skilled trades such as carpenters, concrete crews, and other rough trades as needed to support daily operations.
  • Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, following direction from site leadership.
  • Support site prep, final clean, and punch list activities as directed by supervisors.
  • Follow all jobsite safety protocols and company safety standards consistently.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the superintendent or foreman to support project needs.
  • Communicate effectively with site personnel to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Adapt to changing priorities on the jobsite and respond quickly to instructions from leadership.

Essential Skills

  • Previous commercial construction experience or final clean experience.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding labor, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials throughout the workday.
  • Comfort working outdoors and in active construction environments.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability, with a willingness to take direction and follow instructions closely.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work overtime or on Saturdays as project demands arise.
  • Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with general labor tasks on commercial construction projects.
  • Familiarity with site cleanup procedures and standards on large construction sites.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Boom lift certification is a plus.
  • Scissor lift certification is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple trades and site personnel.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.

Work Environment

This position is based in Colorado on a large-scale K–12 school construction site. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with some Saturdays required as project demands arise. You will work in an active construction environment, primarily outdoors, around heavy equipment, tradespeople, and ongoing building activities. The project is planned to run through April 2027, with potential for extension based on performance and project needs. You should expect standard construction-site attire, including appropriate work boots and clothing suitable for outdoor work and varying weather conditions, along with required personal protective equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
