Aerotek is Hiring a Machine Operator‑in‑Training

We are hiring an Operator‑in‑Training to support production operations at a company that manufactures plastic sheets used in Plexiglass products for restaurants, schools, and businesses nationwide. This role is ideal for someone versatile who wants to learn machine operation, support production teams, and grow into higher‑level manufacturing roles.

Pay & Schedule

• $19.50 – $21.50 per hour
• 12‑hour shifts on a 2‑2‑3 rotating schedule
  • 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on
  • Built‑in overtime and consistent days off

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Operator‑in‑Training, you will support multiple areas of the production line while learning machine operation and quality processes:

• Support end‑of‑line production activities, including palletizing and material handling
• Perform visual quality inspections on finished plastic sheets
• Identify basic sheet defects and report issues to leadership
• Communicate quality or process concerns to the shift leader or operations manager
• Follow all safety, process, and operational procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Manufacturing, production, or machine operator experience preferred
• Strong understanding of safety practices and material handling
• Ability to follow procedures and complete tasks efficiently
• Willingness to learn, cross‑train, and grow into an operator role
• Dependable, adaptable, and team‑oriented work ethic

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Smithsville, PA.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.50/hr.
