MajorDuties

  • This is a developmental position where the duties become increasingly more difficult at each grade level. The target grade duties are as follows:
  • Provide technical guidance to engineers and support staff developing advanced process technology, equipment, and control methods for demilitarizing conventional ammunition, tactical missiles, and strategic rocket motors.
  • Apply and adapt engineering theories, practices and precedents to solve problems related to the demilitarization of munition items.
  • Responsible for the transfer and integration of newly demonstrated munitions demilitarization technologies into the organic base.
  • • Plan, prepare, and execute technology engineering projects and related studies to establish new or improved procedural techniques.
