As a Fund Servicing Associate II within our fund servicing team, you will monitor compliance exceptions at daily cutoffs, ensuring timely escalation of material issues.. Leveraging your broad knowledge of fund accounting and administration, you will provide advice and support to ensure progress within established procedures and policies. Your work will have a significant impact on our department, requiring you to apply your advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to develop solutions for varied and complex issues. Job responsibilities
  • Exception Monitoring & Triage:
    Monitor compliance exceptions at daily cutoffs, ensuring timely escalation of material issues.

  • Alert Investigation:
    Analyze exceptions using instrument data, rule logic, and prospectus terms to determine validity.

  • False Alert Remediation:
    Work with data management and rule teams to fix false positives, validate fixes in test and production environments.

  • Compliance Run Management:
    Ensure compliance processes and schedules complete on time; manage dependencies and re-runs to meet SLAs.

  • Data Feed Issue Resolution:
    Research and resolve data import/feed issues with providers and internal stakeholders; document outcomes and preventive actions.

     

  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Investment teams, and third-party vendors for timely issue resolution.

  • MI Production & Reporting:
    Generate and present MI on alert volumes, false positive rates, turnaround times, and run timeliness.

  • Audit & Documentation:
    Maintain evidence, audit trails, and decision logs; ensure procedures are current and effective.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Analytical Skills:
    Experience interrogating datasets to validate rule triggers and exception drivers.

  • Investment Knowledge:
    Understanding of investment instruments, portfolio structures, and fund restrictions.

  • Compliance Engine Familiarity:
    Knowledge of rule-based compliance engines and scheduling concepts.

  • Root Cause & Defect Management:
    Proficiency in root cause analysis and implementing durable fixes.

  • Communication:
    Strong written and verbal skills for escalation, stakeholder alignment, and audit documentation.

  • Time Management:
    Ability to prioritize and meet daily cutoffs under SLA pressure.

  • Data Tools Proficiency:
    Skilled with spreadsheets, data analysis tools, and interpreting flat files and feed logs.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Investment Compliance Experience:
    Background in investment compliance, middle-office controls, or data operations.

  • Rule Building Exposure:
    Experience with rule configuration for compliance engines and common data feeds/providers.

  • Exception Management Workflow:
    Familiarity with ticketing/issue tracking tools.

  • Market Data & Financial Products Knowledge:
    Understanding of market data, financial products, accounting platforms, and data vendors
