Insight Global's client is hiring a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join a large, well‑established insurance organization that’s actively adopting an AI‑first engineering approach. This is a hands‑on coding role where you’ll work on core web applications used by insurance agents, modernize legacy systems, and use AI tools like GitHub Copilot to code faster and smarter.

Preferred Experience:

• 5–8+ years of fullstack development experience
• Strong backend experience (Java, C#, .NET, Node)
• Modern frontend experience (React, Angular, or Vue)
• Professional experience using AI tools in day‑to‑day development
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work hands‑on

What you’ll be doing:

• Build and maintain fullstack web applications
• Work primarily with Java on the backend and React on the frontend
• Use AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to enhance coding, testing, and refactoring
• Help modernize and migrate legacy systems
• Collaborate with a small, mid‑senior engineering team

Nice to have:

• Deep experience with GitHub Copilot
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy systems
