Security Officer – All Shifts Available

Location: Hiring for different client sites in Middlesex and Essex County

Securitas is hiring Security Officers to support a variety of client sites. Positions are available across all shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends. Whether you're starting a career in security or bringing prior experience, this is an opportunity to join a company focused on professionalism, growth, and service.

Responsibilities:

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites
• Provide a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents
• Control access to client locations, verifying credentials and managing visitors
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms in a timely and professional manner
• Complete detailed and accurate reports
• Deliver strong customer service while upholding Securitas standards

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to remain calm and professional in dynamic situations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods

Requirements:

• Strong customer service skills
• Previous administrative or reception work is mandatory
• High level of professionalism
• Sitting, standing and walking for long periods of time
• Moderate level of computer knowledge needed
• Comfortable greeting and talking to new people
• MUST have GED or HS Diploma
