Full Time Security Officer 

 

Location: Danvers, MA

Schedule: Friday-Tuesday, 3pm-11pm

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour 
 

Securitas Security Services is seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our retail location. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible presence, deter theft and misconduct, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service while enforcing store policies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Monitor the retail premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems
• Deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activities
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
• Enforce store policies and safety procedures
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed
• Write accurate and detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Coordinate with store management and local law enforcement when necessary
• Conduct bag checks or access control procedures (as required by site policy)
• Ensure emergency exits and safety equipment are accessible and functional

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior security or retail experience preferred

   

• Strong observational and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Basic knowledge of security systems (CCTV, alarms, etc.)
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
