Within Space Security area, the Arctic Gates program is growing, and we are looking to expand our team of dedicated full stack software engineers to meet our Customer's needs. Our teams will be developing and integrating new Operational C2 systems in a virtual cloud environment and working closely with other Mission Partners to deliver a fully integrated system to the Customer comprised of critical software applications.
As a member of the software scrum team, you’ll be contributing to implementing the software features to create these new systems, and the work will include areas such as defining and implementing application programming interfaces (APIs) as part of the microservices architecture. Utilizing software development best practices, such as modern web frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and automated unit tests, you will work together to provide a cloud system that meets enterprise milestones.
This new role provides the opportunity to be a part of the entire software engineering lifecycle, where the candidate will be able to apply their skills at the lowest level all the way up through full system functionality. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to building a new system from the ground up, where you will have opportunities to shape the system, work side by side with the Customer, and gain new domain knowledge. Basic Qualifications:• Programming Languages/scripting - JavaScript/Node, C#
• Modern Web Frameworks - Angular/React/Vue.js/Ember.js
• GitLab pipeline for software project
• Currently active Top Secret security clearance, with either SCI or other special program access
• Experience working in a Top Secret environment
• Agile scrum experience and proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Version One, Confluence)
Desired Skills:• Automated testing experience, able to identify scenario where unit test vs integration test would be useful Containerization experience
• UI Design - CSS, Astro UX, Material
• Design and creation of an API used by others (e.g., REST API, message broker-based API)
• REST or gRPC experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
