We are seeking an Senior Software Engineer to be part of a Team that develops applications supporting Risk and Compliance across all levels of the organization.
Primary responsibilities for the individual in this role:
- Develop Solution Architecture for Enterprise Strategic Risk technology solutions.
- Adhere to team standards, processes, work-flows, and schedules.
- Partner with Architects, Developers, and Senior Managers to develop technology road-map.
- Approach development and production issues methodically.
- Work on multiple complex issues and projects simultaneously.
- Design and build solutions as a full stack java developer in a service driven open architecture environment
- Develop and implement custom user experience solutions for web-based applications.
- Create complex industry-leading user interface design solutions.
- Serve as design "advocate" with the ability to forecast and assess industry trends and their impact on the company's product design alternatives.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Oversee the execution of strategic design projects that influence design and strategic direction.
- Identify and lead implementation through business tools and partnerships with technology and other key business organizations throughout the enterprise.
- Build alliances with the lines of business, technical operations, and architecture teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Provide product usability, evaluation, and support to product development teams.
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
- May oversee work performed by others and serve as a mentor to the direction of the unit while not managing people.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years of Hibernate experience
- 3+ years of Java experience
- 3+ years of UI (User Interface) experience
- 2 + years of AngularJS experience
- 2+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
- 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
Desired Qualifications
- An industry-standard technology certification
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of data warehouse application design and development
- 3+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
- 3+ years of SQL experience
- Cloud computing experience
- Web design and development experience
- 1 + years of Wells Fargo application development experience
- 3+ years of application development experience
- 2+ years of experience working on risk applications
- 3 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI or Angular JS)
- Risk and finance regulatory reporting experience
- 2+ years of experience in data architecture and strategy
- 1+ year of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) experience
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Experience with version control or source code repositories to include: Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory or XMLSpy
- 3+ years of microservices development experience
