Main responsibilities:

  • A Day in the Life:

    - Delight our customers to meet or exceed customer experience goals.
    - Comply with established Weights and Measures, health and sanitation and safety policies and
    procedures.
    - Use equipment, including knives, power saws, grinders and other Meath processing machinery
    to cut, trim and prepare meat products, minimizing waste wherever possible.
    - Weigh, package and label meat and poultry items for display.
    - Promote sales with the department.
    - Remove fresh, frozen, and prepackaged meats from storage coolers and freezers and
    display in meat department display cases.
    - Inspect displayed product for expired dates and remove when necessary.
    - Take special orders from customers and provide special cuts.
    - Maintain cleanliness in area and conduct bussiness in accordance with all federal, state, and local food/safety regulations.
    - Perform daily temp and tare checks in accordance with division guidelines.
    - Perform all job duties safely, accurately, with honesty and integrity.
    - Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 75 lbs.
    - Frequent or continuous standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • 1+ year meat cutter experience
    You agree that food is central in all our lives

    You take pride in the work you do, with every detail, whether big or small
    You enjoy working with various tools & power equipment
    You are adaptable to working in varying work environments (freezer, refrigerator, sales floor, etc.)
