Akkodis is seeking a Front Office Production Support / Trading Support specialist for Contract (W2) with a client in Plano, TX - Hybrid - (5 days onsite in a week). Ideally, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in Hands‑on Front Office trading support expertise with strong incident/problem management, SQL & Python skills, and deep understanding of FICC/Equities trading flows and market data in a high‑pressure environment.


Pay Range: $60 -$63/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Job Summary:

This is a critical trader facing role supporting Front office Global Markets business, requiring a motivated and flexible individual to work in close collaboration with the Application Developers, peer Support Leads, Application Managers, Offshore teams and Infrastructure Support. This is a high-profile role working in a high intensity environment which demands an individual to display Business and Technical acumen, the ability to assimilate lots of information quickly, with focus on Incident and Problem Management whilst being highly adaptable to a changing trading environment.

Responsibilities include:

• First point of contact for end business users in FICC and Equities for all intraday risk issues

• Troubleshooting complex end-to-end flow of trades and market data updates

• Ownership and delivery of onboarding support of new lines of business and workflows

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts

• Proactive identification and resolution of problem hotspots

• Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements

• Incident and Problem Management

• Event Management (Monitoring and Alert life cycle Management)

• Defining and driving monitoring improvements and technical processes

• Capacity, Performance and Resiliency Management

• Tool development in-house projects

• Stakeholder management and communication

• Knowledge management

• SQL

• Python

• ITIL

• Monitoring Tools: Dynatrace, Splunk and ITRS Geneos

• Hands on experience providing direct support to front office trading desks

• Business knowledge of fixed income products

• Understanding of market data flows

• Grid Computing

• Quartz (BofA internal)
