Hyatt House San Jose / Silicon Valley provides comfortable, extended-stay options for easy living while away from home. They get to select the space that best fits the travel needs, from our studio suites with sofa beds to a king suite with separate living room and full kitchen. Our San Jose hotel has 180 total rooms, with 112 suites and 68 standard rooms.
The Front Office Agent / Night Auditor at Hyatt House San Jose / Silicon Valley is responsible for delivering an excellent guest experience during evening and overnight hours while ensuring the accuracy of daily hotel financial and operational reporting. This position combines front desk service with nightly accounting functions and plays a key role in maintaining smooth hotel operations, guest satisfaction, and audit compliance. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, detail-focused, dependable, and comfortable working independently.

This is an hourly position with a compensation of $23 per hour.

· Previous front desk, guest service, hotel night audit, or hospitality experience preferred.
· Basic accounting, cashiering, or reconciliation experience preferred.
· Strong customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to work Friday and Saturday- overnight shifts, Tuesday-Thursday, AM or PM shifts.
· Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
· Proficiency with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office is preferred.
· High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or business is a plus.
· Ability to stand for extended periods.
· Ability to lift, carry, or move up to moderate weight.
