Who We Are

Lamplighter Brewing Co. is a community-oriented brewery with two taprooms and an in-house coffee program in Cambridge. We’re dedicated to producing high-quality, creative, and flavor-driven beers, specializing in New England IPAs, barrel-aged sours, and unique seasonal releases. Our team is collaborative, passionate, and committed to creating a welcoming and dynamic guest experience.


The Role

We are seeking a Front of House General Manager (GM) to lead day-to-day operations across our Broadway (BW) and Cambridge Crossing (CX) taprooms. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for staffing, scheduling, service standards, inventory, events, and overall FOH performance.


The GM will work closely with the Director of Operations and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across taproom operations, events, production, and programming. This role requires a highly organized, solutions-oriented leader who can manage teams in real time while continuously improving systems and processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all FOH operations across both taproom locations.
  • Hire, train, and develop FOH staff and leadership.
  • Build and manage schedules to align with demand, events, and seasonality.
  • Ensure consistent service standards and a high-quality guest experience.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully operational spaces.
  • Manage FOH inventory, including beer, NA beverages, retail, and supplies.
  • Prevent stockouts and minimize waste and inventory loss.
  • Support planning and execution of events and programming.
  • Coordinate evening food partnerships and ensure smooth service integration.
  • Oversee POS systems, cash handling, and compliance.
  • Monitor labor, sales, and operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Act as the primary FOH liaison across Production, Events, Marketing, and Operations.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and events.


Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in hospitality, taproom, or food and beverage operations.
  • Familiarity with scheduling, POS systems, and inventory management.
  • Interest in beer and brewing.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $70,000+/year, based on experience
  • Benefits: Health & Dental Insurance, 401(k).
  • PTO and company holidays. 
  • Start Date: June 2026.
