Receptionist – Construction Office

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Position Type: On-Site, Full-Time

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM

Compensation: $40,000 annually

Our company is seeking a polished, dependable Receptionist to support our growing construction operations in West Palm Beach. This position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to launch their career within a high-caliber construction firm. The role is critical to maintaining a professional, organized, and efficient office environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in presentation, communicates confidently, and understands the importance of follow-through in a fast-paced, high-performance setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Answer and professionally route incoming calls.
  • Prepare conference rooms and coordinate refreshments as needed.
  • Manage the company office contact list and directory.
  • Provide administrative support to project managers and leadership.
  • Assist with travel arrangements, if requested.
  • Support onboarding by setting up workspaces for new employees, including devices and supplies.
  • Maintain spreadsheet of all laptops and iPads currently in use, and by whom.
  • Compile Amazon order requests and send them to Office Manager once weekly for approval.
  • Track routine office maintenance items (e.g., filter replacement schedules) and coordinate with labor staff for installation.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain adequate office and kitchen supplies.
  • Ensure a clean, organized reception area and common spaces
  • Load dishwasher and clean kitchen countertops each evening, and unload dishwasher in the morning

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
