Freelance Videographer

We are seeking a freelance videographer for a one-time, on-location shoot in the Aldine School District area of Houston. This is a straightforward, low-production assignment focused on capturing short, direct-to-camera interviews.

Project Overview

The videographer will film brief testimonial-style interviews. The goal is to capture clear, well-framed, and steady footage of each subject speaking directly to camera in a vertical format.

Responsibilities

• Capture short interview responses (under a few minutes each) from up to 10 individuals
• Film in vertical format, framing subjects mid-thigh up or full body
• Ensure clean, clear audio using a wireless microphone
• Ask a provided set of questions and guide interviewees through responses
• Request two strong takes per response and prompt re-takes if needed
• Maintain steady footage (tripod optional but not required)
• Leave brief silence before and after each response for editing purposes
• Select filming locations with minimal background noise when possible
• Upload all raw footage via Dropbox on the same day as the shoot

• Capture only (no editing required)
• No significant setup or breakdown needed
• Lightweight gear setup

• iPhone or mirrorless camera (both acceptable)
• Wireless microphone (required)
• Ability to maintain stable footage (tripod optional)

Deliverables

• Raw, unedited footage
• Same-day upload via provided Dropbox link
