Freelance Project Manager (Experiential)

Our client, an award-winning global agency specializing in entertainment, sports, and lifestyle marketing, is seeking a Creative Project Manager with experiential experience to join their team on a freelance basis. This is a 40 hour per week role, ideally onsite at their office in Los Angeles but the client is open to remote for the right person!

The Creative Project Manager will:

- Manage day-to-day project workflows across integrated campaigns including creative, digital, PR, and experiential
- Coordinate across cross-functional teams (account, creative, production, strategy) to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables
- Support development of project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables in partnership with senior leads
- Partner with producers to help manage experiential activations, including vendor coordination, fabrication timelines, logistics, and onsite planning
- Maintain project documentation including timelines, status reports, and resource tracking
- Schedule meetings, create agendas, and share clear recaps with next steps
- Track project progress and flag risks, helping to implement solutions and contingency plans
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Assist with budget tracking, resource planning, and scope updates
- Contribute to process improvements and help reinforce project management best practices

The Creative Project Manager has:

- 3+ years of experience in project management within an agency or marketing environment
- Exposure to integrated campaigns (digital, social, PR, experiential)
- Experience supporting or coordinating experiential marketing or live events is a strong plus
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and project management tools
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
