Our Client, an AI B2B software startup, for its first non-founder customer-facing hire. You'll own every customer relationship and build the customer engineering function from zero — defining how the company scales from early traction to thousands of customers. This is an operator role for someone who thinks in systems, moves fast, and automates everything they touch.
What You'll Do:
- Train and refine AI agents on product tiers, buyer personas, and pricing conversations
- Act as the voice of the customer — surface patterns from usage and conversation data to inform product direction
- Own customer relationships end-to-end: onboarding, ongoing success, and performance optimization
- Build and automate workflows to scale the customer engineering function and eliminate manual processes
- Partner directly with the CTO to translate customer feedback into shipped product improvements
What We Want:
- 3–5 years in a customer-facing role at a tech startup (at least 1 year at a VC-backed Seed–Series B company)
- Background in MBB/Big 4, voice AI, or technical orgs with forward-deployed or agent-driven workflows (e.g. Palantir-style environments)
- Strong systems thinking and engineering mindset — you build processes, not just follow them
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and building automated workflows end-to-end
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in async and customer-facing contexts
- Authorized to work in the US — no visa sponsorship
Plus: Technical undergraduate degree; demonstrated 0→1 playbook building experience.
