Founding Customer Success Manager

Snatch UP
Alameda, CA

A well-funded, early-stage AI startup is changing how B2B sales teams work. They've raised millions in seed funding, already work with major global enterprises, and are now building out their core team in San Francisco.

The role You'll be the company's first Customer Success Manager. That means you won't be stepping into someone else's system, you'll be building it. You'll own the customer experience after the sale, keep clients happy and renewing, and create the CS playbooks from the ground up. It's an early, high-impact role with a clear path to leading the team as the company grows.

What you'll do

  • Be the main point of contact and trusted advisor for a growing list of enterprise and mid-market accounts, making sure they onboard smoothly, use the product fully, and get real value from it
  • Build the Customer Success function from scratch: processes, health scores, and retention strategies
  • Spot risks early and find opportunities to grow accounts, driving strong net revenue retention
  • Represent the customer internally and work closely with product and engineering to shape what gets built next
  • Set the foundation to hire, mentor, and lead a CS team as the company scales

What you'll need

  • 3+ years in Customer Success Management, ideally at a B2B SaaS company, tech startup, or other fast-moving environment
  • Comfort with ambiguity and an entrepreneurial, high-energy approach. You like building in a place that's still figuring things out
  • Able to work full-time from the South Park office in San Francisco
  • Able to travel to New York City for hands-on training before the SF office opens
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

What's on offer

  • Base salary of $120K-$130K
  • Annual performance bonus of 10-15%
  • Early-stage equity at a well-funded AI startup
  • A clear, fast path to a leadership role
  • Hybrid and remote flexibility after the first few months of onboarding

If you want to build something from the ground up rather than maintain what's already there, this is that kind of role.
