Founding Account Executive (Part-Time), Schools & Camps

Bloomily
Anaheim, CA

About Bloomily

Bloomily is modern software for preschools, camps, and after-school programs — one platform for enrollment, billing, attendance, daily reports, parent communication, forms, and camp registration. Most childcare software feels old, expensive, and stitched together. Bloomily is founder-built, early, and fast-moving, designed for programs that need one system across preschool and camp operations.

Why This Role Exists

Bloomily is hiring a part-time Founding Account Executive for Schools & Camps. Schools and camps reach out, take demos, and ask thoughtful questions. We need someone who can run those conversations, qualify the real pain, walk directors through the product, follow up without being chased, and bring product feedback back into the company.

This is a real seat on the early sales team — not a junior support role and not a contractor task list. You will work directly with the founder, talk to real customers every week, and your feedback will shape what we build next. The first deal you close, you wrote the script for.

This is a genuine part-time path, not a stepping stone we use to filter you into full-time. If part-time is what fits your life, that is what this role is.

Who You Are

No prior sales experience required. We hire for hunger, judgment, and customer empathy — and teach the rest.

Good fits include:

- Parents returning to work who want meaningful, flexible hours.

- Former teachers, preschool directors, or camp staff who know this world and want a sales seat without leaving family time on the table.

- Career changers from admissions, enrollment, customer success, or recruiting.

- Semi-retired educators or operators who want to stay in the game part-time.

- People with a side business or studies who want serious work, not a gig.

What The Day Looks Like

- Run inbound demos with school and camp directors.

- Make outbound calls into a curated list of programs.

- Speed of callback matters — interested directors should hear back fast, not next week.

- Send clear, written follow-ups that move deals forward.

- Log every conversation so the founder can review and coach.

- Share what you hear in the field so the product gets sharper.

Schedule

- Roughly 20–25 hours per week, on-site in Orange County, CA.

- Core hours overlap with when school and camp directors are reachable (mornings and early afternoons local time).

- Steady weekly schedule, not on-call.

Ramp

- Week 1: shadow demos, learn the product, start dialing.

- Weeks 3–4: running discovery calls independently.

- First quarter: first close or signed proposals.

- Bi-weekly call review with the founder so you always know where you stand.

What You Will Not Do

- Run marketing campaigns or paid ads.

- Wait for a mature enterprise sales org to tell you exactly what to do.

- Hide behind email when a call would move the deal forward.

- Sell a product you do not understand.

Compensation

- Hourly base plus revenue share on customers you bring in.

- Revenue share is paid as customers stay — the longer they stick, the bigger the check.

- Bonuses for marquee logos, multi-site customers, references, and volume milestones.

- Specific dollar amounts are shared during the offer conversation.

Location: Orange County, CA — in-office, part-time.

Apply through LinkedIn and send quick written answers — a Loom or audio note works too if you'd rather speak than write.
