Forklift Operator / Shipping Clerk

Our client, a leading organization in industrial operations, is seeking a Forklift Operator / Shipping Clerk to join their team.  As a Forklift Operator / Shipping Clerk, you will be part of the warehouse support team, ensuring efficient shipment processing and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, teamwork, and initiative, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator / Shipping Clerk

Location: Goshen, NY

Pay Range: $24.00hr

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-4:45pm
 

What's the Job?

• Receive and document various types of shipments, including UPS, FedEx, full truck loads, and LTLs
• Prepare and load outbound shipments accurately and efficiently
• Keep the warehouse organized and maintain cleanliness
• Operate forklifts and assist with warehouse maintenance tasks
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure service levels are met

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of warehouse experience
• Some maintenance experience preferred
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs., bend, climb ladders, and operate forklifts
• Basic computer skills in Outlook and Word; forklift trained preferred
