Job Title: Forklift Operator (Turret)
Job Description
This role operates turret, stand-up, and sit-down forklifts in a busy distribution warehouse, handling product movement in narrow aisle racking systems. You safely maneuver equipment in tight spaces, manage pallets at various heights, and use RF scanning and warehouse management tools to ensure accurate inventory control. You support shipping, receiving, picking, put-away, and stock replenishment activities while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Work Environment
This position is based in a large distribution warehouse that operates on a 2nd shift schedule. You work primarily in narrow aisle racking areas using turret and stand-up forklifts, as well as sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The environment is fast-paced and production-driven, with regular interaction with shipping, receiving, and inventory teams. You will be on your feet and operating equipment for most of the shift, handling products and pallets that can weigh up to 50 lbs. The facility follows established safety procedures and OSHA standards, and you are expected to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout your shift.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edison, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
