Forklift Operator

Our client, a leader in heavy industrial operations, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team on first shift. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the logistics and warehouse support team, ensuring efficient loading, moving, and handling of materials. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Altavista, VA

Pay Range:$16.00

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Operate gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial trucks with lifting devices such as forklifts, elevating platforms, or buckets.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials to ensure safe and efficient handling.
• Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and materials handled.
• Support team members in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts or similar equipment.
• Ability to pass a background check and urine drug screen.
• Proven skills in forklift operation and safety protocols.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
