Forklift Mechanic - Fort worth, Tx

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform maintenance on material handling equipment (MHE) and conveyor systems, with a strong focus on MHE. The successful candidate will be adept at changing gears, pumps, motors, belts, and conveyors as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on forklifts, material handling equipment and conveyor systems.
  • Change and maintain gears, pumps, motors, belts, and conveyors.
  • Focus primarily on MHE maintenance and repair.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Utilize schematics and blueprints for maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills

  • 4+ years of maintenance experience.
  • Proficiency in forklift maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
  • Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in welding.
  • Mechanically inclined with a strong troubleshooting ability.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
