Overview

We are seeking an experienced Stand‑Up Forklift Operator to support daily operations in a high‑volume e‑commerce distribution center. In this role, you will safely move products throughout the facility using stand‑up reach trucks and clamp forklifts. Your work ensures merchandise remains in excellent condition and ready for customer fulfillment.

Shifts Available

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
  • Must be available Saturdays and Sundays
  • Pay: $22.20/hr

Responsibilities

  • Operate stand‑up reach forklifts and clamp forklifts to move products throughout the distribution center
  • Ensure all merchandise is handled safely and remains in sellable condition
  • Unload inbound trucks and process received merchandise
  • Stock products in designated warehouse locations
  • Pick and stage orders by locating specified items and transporting them to the loading dock
  • Pack smaller items into larger containers for shipment
  • Load outbound trucks with merchandise for delivery to company locations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and efficiently

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of stand‑up forklift experience
  • Experience with loading/unloading, inventory management, picking, packing, and general warehouse operations
  • Ability to move and stock merchandise in designated warehouse areas
  • Strong attention to safety and cleanliness

Work Environment

The work environment is clean, with a well-maintained break/lunch room. It is temperature controlled, requiring no PPE or steel toe boots. The dress code is casual, allowing gym shoes or closed shoes, jeans, and t-shirts, with hoodies permitted if the hood is not worn in the warehouse. Shifts include 2nd Shift from 04:00 PM to 12:30 AM and 1st Shift from 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM, with open availability required from Sunday to Saturday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Naperville, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.20 - $22.20/hr.
