This position will be responsible for the Vehicle NVH attribute, from pre-program phases through final engineering sign-off, of Ford Racing vehicle programs. The successful candidate will lead NVH development on our high performance on & off-road vehicles using analytical and in-vehicle methods to deliver world class customer experiences. Ford Racing operates our vehicle development in close conjunction with all functional engineering partners and moves at a fast pace. This role is perfect for the experienced NVH systems engineer that is proactive, is capable of owning all aspects of a vehicle program from cradle to grave, is highly collaborative and seeking opportunities to work on the highest performing cars and trucks in the industry.

What you'll do...
- Own the NVH attribute by leading both program and technical aspects of NVH development for future Ford Racing on and off-road vehicles
- Plan and execute required subsystem and vehicle level development activities through all GPDS phases
- Be the point person for assigned programs, actively communicating workplans, attribute status and management of issues resolution
- Establish pre-program targets that support hardware and system selection, using analytical tools and methods to deliver attribute targets and minimize trade-offs prior to prototype availability
- Work closely with all cross functional teams, including Body, Powertrain, & Chassis, as well as development partners in Vehicle Dynamics, VEME, CAE / Simulation and Powertrain Controls
- Responsible for delivery of all NVH attributes and requirements including sound quality, driveline, road/wind and exterior noise, as well as related quality metrics
- Use analytical tools (CAE, Simulator, etc) to define and assess attribute status, identify root cause of issues and determine solutions sets, as well as tuning libraries that deliver program attribute targets
- Manage test plans to support tuning freezes and attribute assessments at all major milestones
- Manage and/or perform off-site testing, scheduling objective testing w/ both internal (VEV) and external vendors/suppliers
- Complete and document all DVP and CDR requirements, including exterior legal noise
