Ford Motor Credit Company ("Ford Credit”), has received regulatory conditional approval to form Ford Credit Bank (the "Bank") to be headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Bank will create innovative and simplified banking solutions to help customers across the country finance the purchase of new Ford vehicles, parts, accessories, and software and earn competitive rates on FDIC-insured savings accounts and certificates of deposit. The Bank will be a direct and wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Credit Company (“Ford Credit”), an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company (“Ford”).

The successful candidate will be a member of an exciting and dynamic team of banking professionals who would have the opportunity to stand-up and begin the operations of the de novo Bank. New employees hired by the bank will initially be Ford Credit employees. Once the bank is formally established, these employees may be transferred to the new bank

In this position...

As a Treasury Manager at Ford Credit Bank, you will be a key leader in establishing a best-in-class Treasury function from its inception. This role has primary ownership of Cash and Liquidity Management and will also play a critical role in Asset Liability Management, Funding and Capital strategy. You will operate as one of two Treasury Managers in a collaborative “dual-lead” structure, responsible for the holistic financial health of the bank. It is designed for a leader who thrives on operational excellence but also seeks to influence high-level Treasury strategy.

What you'll do...

  • Lead Cash Management: Design, implement and oversee the bank's daily cash management operations, including management and execution of electronic payments, positioning, balancing and reconciliation across all bank accounts and processing platforms.
  • Lead Liquidity Strategy: Serve as the primary lead for the bank’s liquidity management framework, owning the strategies and policies that govern the bank’s liquid asset holdings. You will ensure strict compliance with internal risk appetites and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will spearhead liquidity stress testing and contribute to the development of the Contingent Funding Plan to ensure institutional resilience across various market scenarios.
  • Partner on ALM and Funding: You will provide cross-functional support for interest rate risk management, investment portfolio analysis, and the execution of funding strategies to ensure a cohesive approach to balance sheet management.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures for all cash-related activities, ensuring strong governance. This includes leading the creation of comprehensive desk procedures, ensuring an audit-ready work environment, and ensuring adherence to compliance policies.
  • Develop, implement, and refine short-term and medium-term cash forecasting models to support Treasury objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive cash position reports, variance analyses, and other management reports, providing critical insights to the broader Treasury team and senior leadership.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in cash management systems, contributing to the selection, implementation, and optimization of Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and other financial technologies.
  • The ability to coach, mentor, and develop future team members is highly valued.
