The Football Nutrition Fellow, assists with the responsibility for the planning, development, implementation, evaluation and management of the clinical nutrition services provided to student-athletes representing the football program. This person will help manage daily tasks of the fueling station, handle deliveries, as well as help with all game day activities within the Football program.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
Collaborates with Nutrition Staff regarding athlete care and health related department programs.
Suggests innovative oral and written nutrition education.
Evaluates nutritional trends and supplement products.
Maintains professional competency and skills required for professional practice.
Assists department with dietary plans for athletes.
Analyzes dietary supplements marketed to athletes, coaches and staff.
Documents nutrition services provided and evaluates the effectiveness of nutrition strategies towards meeting desired outcomes.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
