Wyoming State Penitentiary is currently seeking a Food Services Supervisor.

- Trains and supervises a staff of Food Service Specialists to assure large-scale food production on a given shift.
- Schedules food service staff, supervises, and directs the work of subordinate staff.
- Assures compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assists with menu and recipe development; provides nutritious menus, diabetic diets, and other medical and religious diets as required.
- Analyzes recipes/menus to meet the USDA guidelines for nutrition.
- Develops and maintains institutional food service policies and procedures.
- Responsible for overall maintenance, security, sanitation, and cleanliness of the facility.
- Responsible for safety and sanitation training of workers under their supervision and documentation of this training.
- Responsible for timekeeping and refrigeration logs, sanitation records, and production schedules.
KNOWLEDGE:- Knowledge of supervisory methods.
- Knowledge of budget andprocurement practicesand policies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education & ExperienceSubstitution:3-5 years of progressive work experience (typically in Food Services) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Food Services Specialist

OREducation:Bachelor's Degree (typically in Culinary Arts)

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:- Applicants must have the physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Applicants must be able to remain on their feet for long periods of time.
