SAGE Dining Services® is seeking an experienced and passionate Food Service Production Manager to lead our culinary team at a private school in Culver, IN. This is an exceptional opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in high-volume environments, excels in ordering and inventory management, and brings energy and collaboration to a fast-paced setting.


In this role, you will lead a fully scratch-made kitchen and guide the culinary program for the main dining hall with creativity, precision, and pride. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, including shift scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring every meal is executed and served on time. Working closely with the Food Service Director, you will also play a key role in overall location management and operational success.


The ideal candidate brings proven leadership experience in food service or restaurant management, with a strong background in food production, culinary techniques, and high-quality food preparation. A solid understanding of hospitality management principles, including catering, banquet services, and restaurant operations, is essential. A valid driver’s license is required.

Pay Type: $60,000 - $65,000 Salary

What you'll do:


  • Demonstrate exemplary customer service skills and develop client relationships.
  • Hire, mentor, and train Team Members in a positive environment.
  • Create menus for daily meal service as well as for a variety of catering events.
  • Implement and maintain HACCP standards
  • Manage merchandising.
  • Deliver fabulous catering results every time.
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively.
  • Deliver budgeted financial results.
  • Manage ordering and inventory.
  • Develop strong client and customer relationships.


What you'll need:


  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a food service operation in a financially responsible manner.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and ability to develop client relationships.
  • Substantial culinary knowledge: trends, techniques, and processes.
  • Proven ability to hire, train, evaluate, and manage people.
  • Minimum five years food service management experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
