ECLARO is currently hiring 12 Food Service Assistants to join one of Chicago's largest and most respected healthcare organizations.

We're seeking candidates who are:

Food service experience is required. Candidates with restaurant, cafeteria, hospital, school dining, catering, or cook experience are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Assist with patient meal tray assembly and cart loading
• Deliver meal carts and supplies throughout the hospital
• Operate dishwashing and sanitation equipment
• Clean kitchen, cafeteria, storage, and service areas
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, carts, and food service equipment
• Dispose of waste and maintain sanitation standards
• Stock and store food, supplies, and equipment
• Support food service operations and patient care teams
• Follow all hospital safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous food service experience required
• Cook experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic math skills
• Ability to operate food service equipment or willingness to learn
• Food Handler Card required within 30 days of hire

Additional Requirements

As this is a healthcare environment, candidates must successfully complete:

• Medical Assessment
• Required Vaccinations and Health Clearances
