A local University is hiring for a Food Service Operations Manager. This person supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of a high‑volume food service location on campus, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and student employees. This role leads and supports student workers and staff through scheduling, coaching, and ongoing performance support, while also assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training efforts to maintain appropriate staffing levels. The Operations Manager monitors food quality, order accuracy, and customer service to ensure compliance with University Dining and franchise standards, manages inventory, ordering, and cost controls, and coordinates maintenance needs and operational schedules. During peak service times, this individual is expected to step in as needed to support floor coverage and daily tasks, while fostering a culture that promotes teamwork, inclusion, and professional growth.
