Job Title: Receiving Technician

Job Overview

This role involves supporting day‑to‑day activities related to handling and processing liquid materials in a clean manufacturing environment. You’ll work with equipment, follow safety rules, and help keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Work with various equipment used for moving and processing liquids
  • Connect hoses and lines to transfer materials as needed
  • Monitor basic process conditions and make adjustments when trained
  • Help with cleaning and general sanitation tasks
  • Assist other production areas when needed
  • Complete required paperwork and use computer systems for simple tasks
  • Follow all safety and cleanliness guidelines
  • Report issues and work with others to solve problems

Skills Needed

  • Experience in a hands‑on or manufacturing role
  • Ability to solve basic problems and stay organized
  • Comfortable working with equipment and following procedures
  • Basic math and computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six months of experience in a production or food‑related environment
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing needs

Work Environment

  • 12‑hour rotating shifts, including some weekends
  • Mostly indoor work with occasional outdoor exposure
  • Temperatures can vary, and the area may be humid at times
  • Requires standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 55 pounds
  • All PPE is provided
  • Paid breaks, lunch break, and shift differential for nights

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.25 - $24.25/hr.
