This hourly position cares for and maintains Main Street flower boxes, hanging baskets and annual plant beds. Responsible for maintaining flower garden areas at Town owned properties as well as general landscaping duties.

Desired start date:5/18/2026&estimated end-of-season date:9/18/2026
4, 10 hour days, 600am - 430pm. Possible weekend work.

Job Location:

Onsite

  • Watering, fertilizing, weeding, deadheading, pruning, wood chip removal/replace, planting and general landscaping duties.
  • Operates truck with water tank.
  • Performs trash and recycling operations.
  • Works in a team-based environment supporting the Public Works Department, the Town of Frisco, the initiatives of the Grounds Foreman, and the overall department operation.
  • Communicates in a timely and professional manner with citizens, visitors, and Town of Frisco staff.
  • Adheres to all Town of Frisco and Public Works policies and procedures; including but not limited to safety, maintaining grooming and uniform standards.
  • Works in a team-based environment supporting the Public Works Department, the Town of Frisco, and the initiatives of the Director and Managers.
  • Assists in all other aspects of Grounds operations as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

Education:GED or High School Diploma

Licenses, Certifications or Accreditations:

  • Valid Colorado driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • CPR/AED & First Aid Certification (Provided by the Town)

Previous Work Experience:One (1) year landscaping, flower bed care and maintenance and annual flower care

Language Ability:Must be able to communicate fluently in English

Other:

  • Must be able to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Must be able to perform manual labor
  • Must be able to work from 7:00am to 3:30pm
