Fleet Recruiting Specialist (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Fleet Recruiting Specialist to support high‑volume hiring of CDL drivers across designated geographic markets. This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, understands DOT/FMCSA requirements, and knows how to build strong driver pipelines quickly and compliantly.

You will manage full‑cycle recruiting, partner closely with hiring leaders, and play a critical role in keeping our fleet fully staffed to support operational demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full‑cycle recruiting for high‑volume CDL driver roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
  • Build and maintain a continuous pipeline of qualified CDL drivers using job boards, ATS/CRM tools, referrals, and proactive outreach
  • Conduct initial screenings to evaluate driving experience, work history, availability, and role fit
  • Ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations, including:
    • Driver Qualification (DQ) Files
    • MVRs
    • DOT Clearinghouse (drug & alcohol)
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, HR, and operations leaders to align on hiring needs and timelines
  • Execute creative and cost‑effective recruiting strategies such as job fairs, community outreach, open houses, and referral programs
  • Coordinate and attend job fairs and in‑person recruiting events as needed
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of high‑volume recruiting experience, with a strong focus on CDL driver recruiting
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing and hiring drivers in competitive markets
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, DOT/FMCSA regulations, and compliance best practices
  • Strong sourcing and candidate generation skills using job boards and CRM/ATS tools

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Clearwater, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
