My client is currently recruiting an Insurance and Fleet Manager working as part of the Linehaul and Central Operations Teams.
Qualifications
Fleet Management and Motor InsuranceExperience is desirable
Familiarity with Telematics/Cameras
Proven administration duties with data,reporting, monitoring and deadlines
Excellent communication, numerical,analytical and presentation skills with anability to discuss and explain informationsuch as liability, coverage, indemnity andpolicy conditions to all relevant parties.
To be able to demonstrate excellentattention to detail and be able to managea workload that varies significantly day today to be able to use the Microsoft Officesuite to an intermediate level as aminimum
Responsibilities
Manage all company fleet and insuranceactivities in line with standard procedures andcompliance standards.
Liaising with claims handlers to progress claimsspeedily and efficiently.
Managing and maintaining best practice forinsurance claims handling and accidentreporting.
Communicating verbally and in writing withHead-Office, drivers and any relevant thirdparties i.e. telematics providers, repairshandlers etc
Providing advice, guidance and assistance onfleet management and insurance issues byfollowing best practice and proactivelymanaging risk
Liaising with suppliers and Head-Office MotorInsurance Admin to ensure appropriate,accurate and timely communications on allissues relating to fleet management, claimshandling etc
Running, analysing and interpreting telematicsand relevant data to produce professionalreports, presenting results internally andexternally.
Driving new ways of creating operationalefficiencies whilst working within current roleand looking for continuous improvement
Managing training for all new and existingdrivers and oversee audits - ability to spot gapsand add additional training or a revised riskapproach
Manage regular review meetings and takeresponsibility for all corrective actions andprocedural requirements identified withinthese meetings.
Liaise with all appropriate parties to make surefleet management and insurance is a key dailyfocus including supporting grievancemanagement and any disciplinary procedures
Conduct regular audits and reviews of allinformation provided e.g drivers licenses,training etc
