Role Description
We are looking for an experienced firmware engineer with a passion for robotics to join happy droid’s engineering team. You will be leading the firmware development for our smart actuators and sensors.
The candidate has a creative and practical mindset, with demonstrated experience building production hardened firmware. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who inspire and support a team, while also being able to independently drive their own work.
Core expertise should include writing production quality firmware, developing real time control and sensing algorithms, as well as bringup of new boards. We need people who are detail-oriented while maintaining a strong view of the bigger picture. The ability to break down complex problems, define requirements, and prioritize work effectively will be key to success at happy droid.
This position is on-site in San Mateo, CA.
