Finish Carpenter - Kalamazoo, MI
Job Description
The finishing carpenter will travel between large commercial projects to perform high-quality interior finishing work, including steel stud framing, trim installation, acoustical ceilings, and the installation of specialized wood products such as cabinets, doors, windows, and decorative trim. This role requires strong experience in finish carpentry and metal stud framing, with the ability to read blueprints, use power tools safely, and deliver precise, detail-oriented work in a commercial construction environment.

Work Environment
This role is based on commercial construction sites, working primarily Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays as project needs require. Typical workweeks range from 40 to 50 hours. The position follows a first-shift schedule, generally starting between 6:00–7:00 a.m. and finishing between 3:00–4:00 p.m., depending on the job site. Current and upcoming projects are located at various commercial locations within roughly an hour of downtown Kalamazoo, including venues such as country clubs, mixed-use developments, and more.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
