Role Description This full-time Financial Professional role is a hybrid position based in Western, NY, with a combination of in-office and work-from-home flexibility. The Financial Professional will meet with individual and business clients to understand their financial goals, assess their current financial situations, and develop tailored financial strategies. Daily responsibilities include preparing financial plans, analyzing investment and insurance options, and presenting recommendations clearly and confidently. The role also involves maintaining ongoing client relationships, monitoring financial plans, and adjusting strategies as client needs or market conditions change. Additional activities include prospecting for new clients, collaborating with internal specialists, staying current on financial products and regulations, and using firm-provided tools and technology to support client service.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in financial planning and finance, with the ability to develop comprehensive, goal-based strategies for individuals and businesses.
  • Analytical skills and experience with financial reporting to interpret data, evaluate options, and support evidence-based recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts in clear, accessible language to diverse clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Interest in pursuing relevant professional licenses (e.g., securities and insurance) and designations (such as CFP®, ChFC®, or similar), where applicable.
  • Demonstrated integrity, client-focused mindset, and commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and build a sustainable client base.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software, CRM tools, and standard office applications is beneficial.
