Financial Planning Analyst

Role: Senior FP&A Analyst (Contract-to-Hire)

What You’ll Do

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning across multiple business units
• Build and maintain complex Excel models, including consolidations and automated reporting using macros/VBA
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and explain variances vs. budget and forecast
• Partner directly with senior leadership (CFO/CEO level) to deliver insights and support strategic decisions
• Collaborate with accounting to align financial reporting and support month-end close processes
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting packages to improve visibility into business performance
• Support board-level reporting, investor presentations, and ad hoc financial analysis
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and scalable financial systems
• Assist in strengthening FP&A and accounting processes, bridging gaps between finance and GL functions
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• 4+ years of FP&A, finance, or related experience
• Advanced Excel (financial modeling, consolidations, macros)
• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong communication skills; ability to present to executive leadership
• Accounting knowledge preferred
