Financial Business Analyst

Job Description:

We looking for an experienced BA with 7-10 Years of experience for Commodities technology team with experience in Agricultural/Soft commodities trading and risk management. The candidate will be actively involved in projects and is accountable for collaborating with various teams such as: Front Office, Quants, Market Risk, Middle Office, Back Office, and downstream systems users.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:

• Directly work with Front-office Sales, trading and Quants.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Capture and document detailed requirements for Agricultural financial, physical trades, listed, OTC and funding.
• Work with Technology dev resources to estimate effort and delivery timelines in a Scrum context.
• Define test-cases and validate features before release to production.
• As needed, support production and help resolve critical incidents post go live

Commodities Product Knowledge:

• Understanding of Agricultural commodities markets dynamics
• Familiarity with the different exchanges (ICE, CBOT, CME, etc…)
• Strong Derivatives and OTC product knowledge (Fut, Fwd, Avg, Options etc.)
• Physical business understanding (Leasing, financing and Inventory management)
• Agricultural specific trade lifecycle events

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the main modules within Endur and/or Murex– Setting up static data, market data (Curve), Contract, trade templates etc. and deep understanding of simulations, EOD process, data extraction and ingestion
• Ability to write SQL statements for analytical work if needed
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivots, macros, etc) for analysis and reporting
• Working experience with Jira and Scrum boards
