About the role:
We are seeking a full-time Financial & Economic Analyst with a strong interest in finance, economics, and litigation consulting.
This role is designed for someone who wants to build a career at the intersection of:
· Financial modeling
· Economic research and analysis
· Drafting expert reports
· Real-world litigation consulting
You will work directly with partners and senior members on active client matters.
Schedule
· ~40-50 hours per week
· Hybrid (NJ-based preferred)
Key Responsibilities
This is not a passive role, this is a growth track position for someone who wants to become a core part of building a boutique advisory firm.
1. Financial Modeling & Analysis
a. Build and support financial models (DCF, damages models, valuation analyses)
b. Analyze financial statements, projections, and market data
c. Assist in calculating economic damages
2. Report Drafting & Case Support
a. Assist in drafting expert reports and memoranda
b. Prepare exhibits, tables, and schedules
c. Support deposition and trial prep
3. Economic & Industry Research
a. Conduct industry and market research
b. Analyze trends relevant to litigation and valuation
4. Data Analysis & Visualization
a. Work with datasets (Excel, CSV)
b. Clean and organize data
c. Create charts and tables
Candidate Learning Objectives:
· Understand economic damages and valuation in litigation
· Build defensible financial models
· Communicate analysis in written reports
Qualifications
· Strong interest in finance, economics, or accounting
· Excel proficiency required
· Strong analytical skills
· Excellent written communication
· Coursework in finance/economics
