Location: Marengo, IL (Hybrid)
Employment Type: W2 Consulting Opportunity
Jefferson Wells is partnering with a manufacturing client to identify a Financial Analyst to join their team on a W2 consulting basis. This is a hands-on, analytics-focused role supporting critical finance operations during a period of transition, with the potential to extend or convert depending on business needs and performance.
The Financial Analyst will assist with core financial planning and reporting activities, including annual business planning and semi-annual operating plans. The role will support product model costing and profitability analysis to inform sales pricing decisions, prepare recurring financial reporting deliverables, and provide ad-hoc analysis for management and internal stakeholders. This position offers strong exposure across the business and visibility to senior leadership.
This role is well-suited for candidates with a solid foundation in financial statements who enjoy working directly with data. It is highly Excel-driven and requires comfort organizing, analyzing, and presenting financial information. Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, particularly for candidates familiar with cost structures and product/BOM-related analysis.
The team operates in a hybrid model, with multiple days on-site each week. Additional flexibility may be available for consultants after initial onboarding and training.
