Job Description:
The Logistics Financial Analyst provides analytical and operational support to Supply Chain Planning and Warehousing/Transportation Operations Department. This position focuses on monitoring logistics spend, analyzing multiple KPIs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Under the guidance of management, the analyst will ensure financial data accuracy and help optimize logistics cost through data-driven insights.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly logistics expense reports, focusing on freight and warehouse costs.
- Assists in preparation of annual logistics budgets and periodic financial forecast
- Monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), identifying trends, and monitor variance that would have impact on the logistics cost.
- Performs variance analysis to explain differences between actual logistics spend to forecasted amount, previous year same period, etc.
Modeling & Strategy:
- Maintains and updates financial models used for logistics cost forecasting and simulation
Data Management:
- Extract and organize data from ERP Systems and TMS/WMS
- Ensure the integrity of logistics financial data for use in executive-level reporting
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Supply Chain Management
- 1-2 years of experience in Accounting, Cost Accounting, or Logistics or related field
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, and Basic Macros are essential)
