This is a 5 day a week on-site position located in the downtown Houston area with paid parking.
The position is paying in the $120K-$130K range with a 20% Short term incentive, 20% Long term incentive annual stock grant (3-year vesting period)
This position reports directly to the Director of Corporate Finance and is responsible for delivering financial insights that support the company’s capital-raising initiatives. The individual in this role will contribute to funding activities across multiple stages of an LNG project.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining financial models, along with managing underlying inputs and assumptions for the Corporate Finance team.
The role also involves supporting treasury and cash management functions for both LNG and the broader organization. This includes activities such as preparing cash settlement reports, monitoring and analyzing interest rate movements, assembling borrowing documentation, and ensuring compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and refining financial models that support corporate financing strategies
- Analyze various capital structure scenarios by evaluating debt, equity, and operational alternatives to enhance value creation for the organization.
- Participate in due diligence processes with prospective lenders and investors
- Support engagement with credit rating agencies, including preparing financial models and presentation materials
- Contribute to the review and preparation of capital-raising documentation, such as consultant reports, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), investor presentations, and other ad hoc materials
- Monitor and assess interest rate trends and their financial implications
- Provide support for treasury and cash management activities across LNG and the organization as needed
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and quantitative skill set, with a solid foundation in financial principles
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in banking, corporate finance, treasury, or similar experience
- Experience within the LNG sector is advantageous
- Background in project development is a plus
- Proven track record of building detailed, project finance-oriented cash flow models
- Deep understanding of financial modeling and valuation methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior executives
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
