Financial Procurement Analyst

Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Level 2 and Level 3 Specialists to find the best fit for the position.


- As a part of the Government Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA) team, PFAs support the development of the negotiation positions for the procurement of goods and services by conducting cost/price analysis of supplier proposals.

- PFAs support U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sale, and Direct Commercial Sale type contracts across multiple programs and platforms.

- Quantitative and statistical methods are used to correlate, compile and analyze supplier cost and non-cost data.


** The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, strong presentation and attention to detail skills.


Position Responsibilities:

• Analyze supplier proposals to determine a fair and reasonable price position

• Conduct cost/price analyses using statistical tools, market trend data and parametric models

• Substantiate cost estimates and lead supplier and customer negotiations

• Cross functional collaboration with Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements

• Develop and improve cost analysis templates and tools

• Ability to travel if needed


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• 1+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Contracts, Estimating and Pricing, Business Operations, Procurement Financial Analysis

• Proficient skills in utilizing Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 2+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience with and/or exposure to supplier related data

• Experience in performing business case or financial analysis


Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
