Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Enfield, CT, for a Financial Accountant. The Financial Accountant will oversee the preparation and management of financial statements, ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, conduct thorough financial analysis, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities include the management of accounting software, assisting with audits, and preparing reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.


Qualifications

  • Manage full-cycle invoicing processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing, tracking receivables, and resolving discrepancies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor communication, addressing billing issues, payment inquiries, and maintaining strong supplier relationships
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to support financial audits, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and responses to audit requests
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Finance principles and practices
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial insights and reporting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and leadership teams to ensure financial alignment
  • Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and financial tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus
